Brain Booster ("we", "our", or "us") is a free educational web application that helps children in Grades Kโ8 prepare for CogAT and SAGES gifted assessments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have as a parent or guardian.
We take the privacy of children extremely seriously. Brain Booster is designed so that children do not create their own accounts and no personal information is collected directly from children. All data is associated with a parent or guardian account.
This policy applies to all users of the Brain Booster web application at bboostapp.com and app.bboostapp.com. Our service is directed at parents and guardians of children in Grades Kโ8. Children use the app under a parent's account and do not interact with our data collection systems directly.

Brain Booster is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All data about a child's quiz performance is associated with and accessible only through the parent or guardian's account.

We use Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication) to store account and progress data. Firebase applies enterprise-grade security controls. Your data is isolated by account โ no user can access another user's data. Firebase's own privacy policy applies to data stored in their infrastructure: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
